SPECIAL PROJECTS

In order to serve our mission to Advance ICS Resilience, Accelerate Information Sharing and Connect the Dots, we work to identify and prioritize Special Projects. See below for current projects and project status.

State of Information Sharing

A comprehensive analysis of information sharing on a national level specific to threats against national critical infrastructure has not been conducted. A clear understanding of the sources and types of data, methods of collection, analysis and distribution, roles, responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities is needed. This research will baseline the current state of national information sharing and provide recommendations for improvement.

State of Information Sharing 2050

What should the future of information sharing look like?

Cyber First Responder Initiative

Foundational and sector-specific competencies, roles and responsibilities, training and certification in partnership with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Grid Resilience Tiger Team

Great strides have been made to ensure the defensibility of the United States power grid. With increased concerns of Russia targeting critical infrastructure, the ICS-ISAC is standing up a special project to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Shields Up initiative and the asset owners on the front lines.
